Prevent frozen pipes this winter
There are several predictions in place at the moment that we can expect a colder than average winter 2014-2015. So from what the seasonal forecast models are predicting, coupled with historical data, the conclusion at this moment in time, is that winter will indeed be colder than average. The pattern being predicted is likely to produce some lengthy cold periods, which will no doubt produce periods of snow.

Well if we are in for a cold winter this year how should you go about preventing frozen pipes?
Underfloor Heating Plus, in conjunction with our sister company Trace Heating Projects, can protect all your winter pipes and taps with our water pipe frost protection kit. Prices start from £45, which, we would argue, is a small price to pay for peace of mind to prevent frozen pipes. The heater kits are also ideal for condensing boiler pipes, static caravans, farms, stables and livery yards and sports pavilions.
Easy to install and economical to use – the heater only switches on when the internal thermostat detects that the temperature has dropped below 5˚C.
